A popular writing tutor at MMC, Dariel Suarez, has also been making his mark in the literary world as an experienced writer. Dariel Suarez was born in Havana, Cuba, where he lived until 1997. He will soon start his work as an MFA candidate in fiction at Boston University. Dariel's writing has appeared or is forthcoming in many publications, including SmokeLong Quarterly, The Coachella Review, Midway Journal, JMWW, Silver of Stone, Versal, The Florida Book Review, and The Acentos Review. He's currently completing a collection of stories set in his native country as well as a poetry chapbook.
